Hualien - Taroko National Park

After alighting from the train, we boarded a bus which took us to the Taroko National Park which has a great view of mountains and marbles. Taroko National Park is one of the six national parks of Taiwan and was named after the Taroko Gorge, the landmark gorge of the park. It spans cross the counties of Hualien, Taichung, and Nantou on the island of Taiwan. Thus, it was expected that i would be greeted primarily by rocks and mountains when we entered the area. Again, i want to re-emphasize that the photos posted are original, taken from our own cameras.

The weather at Hualien was tolerable compared to the rather hot Kaohsiung and bloody cold Taipei. It was windy but not cold. The awesome view really made the long train ride worth it. It started to drizzle in the late afternoon as we were about to depart, thankfully.
