After departing from Hualien, we got onto the longest bus journey for this trip - to Kaohsiung. We made three stopovers, one for lunch and the other for two toilet breaks. We also traveled along the Pacific Ocean. Below are some of the pictures taken of the stopovers. Noticed the unique toilet signs?

After lunch, we stopped by this place where we ate sweet potatos or 'di gua' which is rather famous in Taiwan. It was also at that pitstop that i bought my Starbucks coffee that kept me awake until we reached Kaohsiung. The picture below shows a picture taken while travelling along the coastline of the Pacific Ocean and the view was really... amazing. *points below*

Kaohsiung, a city in southern Taiwan is also the most dense and the second largest city in Taiwan. We headed to a few night spots which are comparable to our very own Clarke Quay. It's called Urban Spotlight Arcade and songs like Sexyback, Maneater and When You're Gone filled the air. We then went to Love River. It was less romantic than i expected, maybe due to the company i had. But it was beautiful nonetheless.
