Nat for Lunch.

I met up with Nat for Lunch at Bugis last Thursday. It was a last minute thing, decided at 1am in the morning. Still, as filming schedules are really unpredictable, he was delayed and our meeting time was pushed back. One of the things that i felt really touched was that he apologized a couple of times in the SMSes/calls and took a cab down despite me telling him not to. He arrived 10 minutes after he called, and we proceeded to TCC for lunch. Now here's the tough part, striking a balance between revealing too much information and saying nothing at all.

Being a regular at TCC, Nat recommended a few dishes and i had this beef thing whose portion i felt was a bit too much for me. On the contrary, he ate a lot more! =P Nah, actually i wanted to eat more too but was damn paisay cos he paid for lunch... *feels bad*

The time spent at TCC was relaxing. We talked throughout the entire time spent there. I was really impressed when he talked about his life before he joined MCS. Considering he is only 3 years my senior, i felt he has really been out there carving a career for himself while i'm currently still waiting for directions. I had this mental image that he'd look more matured in his speces but i changed my mind after he took them out and tried them on. He looked boyishly like an NSF with his specs lah! We then chatted about other stuff relating to philosophies in life, his current projects and about people. I think it's always nice to chat about people, NOT in the gossiping manner. It's more about what they are doing in their lives to fulfill their dreams/ attain their goals.. It's inspiring.

After lunch, we walked around Bugis and went to MUJI which contained stuff which really tempted me to buy but i'm on a strict budget for this month! Anyway, i felt really thankful that he accompanied me until it was time to meet my other friend for dinner.

It'd be quite awhile before we meet up again cos fliming for his new drama will commence in February and i'll be having my first taste of freedom in 2 years.
