Twenty-One.

It's the time
...when 'adulthood' is tagged on you, making you feel terribly old.
...when lines on your face start appearing, making you look terribly old.
...when you know what you want to do in life, making you think like an old man.

When you have a function, people's answers really says a lot. I guess it all boils down to Decisions, Priorities and Inevitabilities.

Some people's Decisions say a lot about the bond you share, whether the reason is that of awkwardness or worse, unwillingness to travel, i guess it already says a lot. A persons Priorities show the depth of the so called friendship and informing me a mere 2 days before the function, even thou i gave notice weeks ago, i shall spare you my unkind words. Despite it only being 4 people, my mood was more than affected, it was rotten.

Inevitabilities, well, are inevitabilities so it's not a matter of choice. A production cannot halt because Ryan's having his birthday celebration so i can understand that la bro! =P

That said, my mood improved by a considerable amount after dinner with Eric just now. He managed to drill the thought that 'those important people in my life will definitely be there and that i should just enjoy myself that day' into my head .

Like Nat said, "Have a smashing 21st and cheers to adulthood". =)

Don't worry guys, I will.. Happy Birthday Ryan. =)
