I was feeling so lethargic and blur yesterday i dropped all my coins on the escalator on the way home. It was so embarrassing as people were behind me and it's not like the coins fell quietly. Thanks to numerous posters put up at all train stations, we are taught that escalators are dangerous places and we should be careful not to let our clothes or limbs get caught in it. Hence picking up the coins with my bare hands was not an option. I decided to let them go.
As i stepped away from the escalator, this lady behind me used her bare hands to sweep the coins from the escalator onto the ground. I stared at her, half expected her hands to get 'eaten'. She was quick and swift, and before i could react, her hand was outstretched in my direction. I almost wanted to hug her for her bravery. It's bravery la, i mean it's not like she took my coins and ran away. I looked at her with that full of gratitute bambi eyes and said "thank you so much". It's good to know there is still warmth in this world even though it's visibly lacking in school.
Yesterday, i bade farewell to my ash-brown coloured hair of 6 months. I dyed it blueish-black and i'm not sure which i liked best. Anyway there's a photo of it below. More photos to come, since my next two weeks are filled with potential photo events.
