Playing Lego.

"Remember when you were a kid and your biggest worry was, like, if you'd get a bike for your birthday or if you'd get to eat cookies for breakfast. Being an adult? Totally overrated. I mean seriously, don't be fooled by all the hot shoes and the great sex and the no parents anywhere telling you what to do. Adulthood is responsibility. Responsibility, it really does suck. Really, really sucks. Adults have to be places and do things and earn a living and pay the rent. And if you're training to be a surgeon, holding a human heart in your hands, hello? Talk about responsibility. Kind of makes bikes and cookies look really, really good, doesn't it? The scariest part about responsibility? When you screw up and let it slip right through your fingers."

I met up with Bryan a few weeks back, when he just started his new job as a financial consultant at a renowned bank. He'd just finished his probation/training and just started his job officially.
Anyway, while he kept insisting i was still playing lego at my age (i'm Not! and Sc agreed with him), a random thought went through my mind.

Remember when you were young and you played lego, building your own desired castle/fortress. It takes patience, and with time, experience allows you to get the result you want. Carving a career from scratch is the same. To climb higher, you need to have patience and experience started accumulating from moment you started.. So while he is currently building a new career from scratch, i'm gonna embark on a new education journey. Hopefully we'll both attain the desired results from our individual, brand new lego set.

Smile.

So anyway, he joined me, Sc and Cb for a quick dinner at PS. Cb, me and Sc then went to watch 'HellboyII' while Bryan went for his night date. ^^ Photos taken by Sc/Cb. =)

'Hellboy2' with Sc and Cb.

Ever since Sc started school, we've had little chance to catch up on each others lives despite seeing each other on a weekly basis, each lasting less than 15 minutes. As for Cb, we'll be going to the same school, same course and he's doing fine despite looking anorexic (*quotes Vanessa*). Right now, i'm kinda hoping we'll be in the same cluster cos i doubt i'll have time to make friends. For the record, "Hellboy2" kinda sucks.
