Movie Weekend + School's Out!

As mentioned, i took a 3 day getaway to basically sleep and watch movies, didn't really feel like shopping so it was basically bed and movies!!! Here's what i watched!

Twilight 3.5/5

This film had lots of hype over the fact that Harry Potter's release was pushed back because of it. Then the porcelain-faced, handsome lead actor became the talk of town overnight. Alright, 'town' doesn't refer to Singapore la, cos films don't release in sync with US here. Don't be sad! At least now you know this film is over hyped cos i've watched it! There have been talks of a sequel for this amateurish, teen romance drama though. I don't know how i feel about that.

The Duchess - 4.5/5

Kiera Knightley really knows how to choose the films she stars in. "The Duchess" turned out to be a really good film and she totally deserves an Oscars. The last part when she spoke to the prime minister, who happened to be the love of her life was really tear jerking. Love shouldn't be so difficult. Life shouldn't be so difficult. I'm going to re-watch it when it shows in Singapore in January!

How to Lose Friends and Alienate People - 3/5

Megan Fox (from Transformers) and Kirsten Dunst (From An interview with the Vampire) were surprisingly good.. Ok and that guy was rather good too but sometimes it was just so lame my pores were laughing.


Currently, these 3 films are unreleased in Singapore yet. So those who want to watch these films have to be patient ya?... =P

So anyway i want to thank all those who gave me encouraging and motivating comments during the course of my exams. You know who you are la so THANK YOU!!! =P

Alright. I'm gonna end off with one photo taken after the last paper before i leave homel for some sun-loving fun today! School's Out and I'm going to play!!! (rehearsals aside).
